All Drifters Go to Heaven

While the popularity of drifting has increased exponentially over the past few years, drivers still encounter a struggle when it comes to scouting out prime locations to practice their passion. Team Orange at Ebisu Circuit in Nihonmatsu, Japan is trying to combat that problem with their drifter’s paradise, known at “Drift Heaven.” The sprawling complex boasts a staggering 8 drift and grip courses, with 6 courses dedicated to drifting year round. Located in the Fukushima Prefecture of Japan, this course is a mere three hour drive from Narita International Airport in Tokyo. The circuit is not only open for drift practice days, but also provides a variety of private drifting lesson packages, and hosts D1 competitions throughout the year.

In an effort to accommodate the large demand from foreign visitors, Team Orange developed “Drift Heaven Weeks,” which includes a foreign-only driver G1GP competition and culminates in a weekend long Drift Matsuri (festival). The festival atmosphere is heightened as drifting enthusiasts from around the globe descend upon Ebisu Circuit and all 8 courses are open to drift for the entirety of the event. It’s definitely time to make use of those frequent flyer miles and head to Drift Heaven!
